Description
The flood in the Finn Slough - old fisherman's village by Alex Lyubar. Early spring and flood with high lavel of tide. Old fisherman's village is almost flooded with high level of water on the background of stormy sky. Finn Slough was built in 1880 as a fisherman village along the Fraser River in Richmond, British Columbia. This was the first settlement of fishermen, immigrants from Finland on the banks of the Fraser River. Today this settlement has lost its importance as a base of a fishing crew. But the descendants of those settlers support this village and use old houses as summer houses for amateur fishing.
