Description
Fishing Village in the Slough by Alex Lyubar, An old fishermen village located in a slough of a river. Old houses with moorings and boats near the shore. Early fall, old grass and yellow trees against the blue sky. Old fisherman's willage in Finn Slough was built in 1880 as a fisherman village along the Fraser River in Richmond, British Columbia. This was the first settlement of fishermen, immigrants from Finland on the banks of the Fraser River. Today this settlement has lost its importance as a base of a fishing crew. But the descendants of those settlers support this village and use old houses as summer houses for amateur fishing
